Amma has explained that every second of Navaratri is a precious moment as the Divine Mother is in Her most gracious and magnanimous form. She is forgiveness personified and showers unconditional love and blessings to all who approach Her at this sacred time.
To take full advantage of this extraordinary time, Amma has designed each moment of Navaratri, scheduling; numerous rituals that will be carried out by traditional Vedic priests at Manidweepa. These include special homas (fire ceremonies), abhishekas (devotional bathing), pujas (worship while offering flowers) and vahana seva (nightly processions), to name a few. Annadanam (feeding others) will also be performed for the tens of thousands of devotees that will attend Navaratri. Navaratri concludes with Amma’s birthday celebration on the most auspicious day of the year, Vijayadasami. It is truly a blessed opportunity to be able to participate in the Navaratri Grand Celebrations held over these 11 days.
